David’s experience comprises more than 350 engagements and has created more than $3.5 billion in sustainable value for public and private enterprises, including Canada Post, Tyson Foods, ConAgra, General Dynamics, and Emerson Electric.

Mandigo Gary McMurray is a long-time research engineer with the Georgia Tech Research Institute, has been appointed chief of its Food Processing Technology Division. He has two decades of experience designing and building advanced robotic systems for the food, transportation and biomedical industries. GTRI researchers focus efforts on both immediate and long-term industrial needs, ranging from advanced robotic systems to improved wastewater treatment technologies to machine-vision grading and rapid microbial detection.

Samuels Lee Johnson received his Bachelor’s degree in Food Science at Virginia Tech and his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Food Science at Texas A&M. He has been working in the food industry for nearly 20 years, including technical jobs in research and development, laboratory management, food safety, and processing. Before working in the Technical Services department at West Liberty, Lee was employed by ConAgra and Butterball LLC. Throughout his tenure, he helped develop guidelines for equipment design, novel antimicrobial technologies and processing enhancements to improve food safety, quality and efficiency.
